Sana Osta

Sana El Osta is a pattern making teacher at ESMOD Beirut, teaching third year students & Lectra classes. She draws her inspiration from her loving husband and two kids, and by spending a lot of time in the sand and sun. Her passion for fashion started at the age of 23, when she started to feed her knowledge and yearning to learn about the industry. For the 10 years that followed, Sana finished her degree in industrial pattern making at the YWCA in Beirut, followed by the opening of her own atelier in women’s ready-to-wear. In the year 2000, the perfect opportunity presented itself; the opening of ESMOD in Beirut. As soon as Sana read the news she enrolled and graduated three years after with a prize in pattern making. While studying, and for a year following her graduation, Sana worked closely with Soha Jarmakani as pattern marker and production controller. Her career in teaching with ESMOD started right after in 2005, which was enriched by international experience in Istanbul in the summer of 2013 & 2017.
